Tongxiang Fashion Sweaters Town belongs to Puyuan Town, Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the middle of the Yangtze River delta  slain, and is in the center of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou city group. Due to the development and expansion of wool-knitting industry, Puyuan Town has become"the Largest wool sweater trading center in the country","Famous Chinese Market Town" Famous Town of Chinese Woolen Sweaters" and has the most complete industrial cluster of wool knitting industry in China, which has beeen lsted in the provincial demonstration cluster areas of industrial transformation and upgrading and the provincial demonstration cluster areas of modern service industry. In history, Puyuan was "a huge town in Jiahe area"because thousands of silk rolls were produced every day".It is one of the five famous towns in the south of the Yangtze River in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the ancient town blocks have been well preserved.

Puyuan is developing under the plan of"one core, two wings and two belts"("One core" is the core of the fashion industry. The"two wings"are the tourist and culture center, and manufacturing and exhibition. the "two belts"are the fashion industry belt and the green walk belt. It owns a total planning area of 3.5 square kilometers, including a construction area of 2100 mu, and an expansion area of 2467 mu.

The town aims to be a leader in fashion industry the town is constructed to become a first-class international town featuring creative designing,  knitting materials development, sweater culture exhibition, popular trend release and travel services. In October 2016, Puyuan Town was selected as the First Batch of Featured Towns of China.
