The Fuyan Temple Scenic Area is located in the west of Fengming Subdistrict, about twelve kilometers away from the downtown, and the scenic area covers nearly one hundred thousand square meters. The Buddhist Culture Gardens, which covers an area of more than 40000 square meters, takes the Buddhist culture as its connotation, and features Jiangnan garden and strange- looking stones. Dongxi In 876 (Taang Dynasty), Emperor Xizong entitled it"Temple of Thousand Buddhas", and in 1008(Northern Song Dynasty) it was renamed as Fuyan Buddhist Temple.
