Tongxiang pot is a kind of delicious course created by Tongxiang people. Its unique tastes include hot, spicy, fresh and fragrant. There are many kinds of Tongxiang pots. The usual pots are duck pots, snakehead fish pot, chicken pot, bullfrog pot and so on.

Tongxiang pot is not the same as chafing dish. While a chafing dish is boiled on the dining table, Tongxiang pot is served after cooking.
